Join us for our East Africa Khui Land Educational & Cultural Tour of 10 days to Kenya & Tanzania, with an optional add on of a 7 day tour of Uganda for only $4,499 per person (double occupancy).
Day 1
Depart from JFK International Airport
Arrive at 10:30 AM at JFK Airport for a brief orientation and then board an international flight to Nairobi, Kenya.
Day 2
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Transfer to your hotel
Morning arrival in Nairobi, Kenya. Pick up and transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. City tour and visit to the local market. Transfer to the hotel for an evening welcome orientation. Dinner on own account.
Day 3
Nairobi National Park, Nairobi National Museum & Dedan Kimathi Monument.
After breakfast, the Nairobi National Park awaits you where you will have a chance to see a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded, followed by lunch in a local restaurant in Nairobi. Later on enjoy a panoramic drive through the city to the other side for a visit to the National Museum and the Dedan Kimathi ancestral monument. Evening presentation/lecture.
Day 4
Drive to Nakuru region, Kariandusi Pre-Historic Site visit, Lake Naivasha
After an early morning breakfast, we will depart for the Nakuru Region to Kariandusi an Early Stone Age site dating to approximately 1 million years ago. Afterwards in the afternoon, we will drive to Lake Naivashav where we will have lunch and later on explore the beauty of Lake Naivasha on a boat safari one of the staple stops while on a Kenyan safari. Sight various bird species including pelicans, cranes and the waters of naivasha themselves are home to wallowing hippos, cape buffalos and other herbivores.
Later drive back to Nairobi arriving late in the evening, Dinner on own account.
Day 5
Nyeri region, Dedan Kimathi’s Vilage
After an early morning breakfast, we will depart for the Nyeri Region to Dedan Kimathi’s village and monument. Later drive back to Nairobi arriving late in the evening, Dinner on own account.
Day 6
Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Visit with the Maasai people of Kenya & Tanzania. Afternoon Game Drive.
Day 7
Half Day Kilimanjaro hike (Optional), Chagga Museum & Community visit
Starting from your hotel after breakfast we will set out to visit Mount Kilimanjaro the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Here we will have an opportunity to hike through the rainforest to visit Maundi Crater. This half-day trip gives you an opportunity to spot colobus monkeys and a startling array of birdlife in their natural habitat.
Retreat for lunch and later visit the Chagga community in Marangu Village. The Chagga tribe is one of the biggest tribes in Tanzania with unique traditional life styles of agriculture and iron smelting. Evening Lecture.
Day 8
Drive from Kilimanjaro to Mombasa
After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to Mombasa past the Holili Border point between Kenya and Tanzania. Travel through Tsavo west National Park in Kenya and upon arrival check into your hotel and have time at leisure.
Day 9
Shimoni Caves Mombasa
After breakfast drive to visit the Shimoni Caves which were used by slave traders to enslave our ancestors up until the 19th century. Lunch and later drive back to your hotel.
Day 10
Flight – Kenya to Uganda
Morning airport transfer from your hotel to Moi airport for a flight to Uganda
Arrive at Entebbe airport. Transfer to your Hotel in Kampala.
Day 11
Jinja Excursion
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Jinja to visit the source of the White Nile. Enjoy a boat ride on the Nile, lunch at the Nile, and later return to Kampala.
Day 12
Kampala City Tour, Lake Nyanza (Victoria), Uganda Museum, Kabakas Lake, Mengo Palace, and local markets
After an early breakfast, visit the Uganda National Museum. Later visit Lake Nyanza the heart of the “Khui Land”. Afterwards, learn about the Kabakas “Kings” of the Buganda Kingdom at Mengo Palace, and visit local markets for shopping if time allows. Evening Lecture.
Day 13
Queen Elizabeth National Park, Boat Cruise
Early breakfast and departure to Queen Elizabeth National Park having lunch en route. Upon arrival, refresh and prepare for a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel with a community visit in the evening hours.
Day 14
Game drive, Drive to Kisoro
An early morning game drive for with sightings of hippos, elephants, kobs, waterbucks among others and a vast array of birds. Have an early lunch, and drive to Kisoro arriving in the evening hours. Evening Lecture.
Day 15
Batwa trail Experience in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Have an early morning breakfast at the lodge, drive to Mgahinga National Park. Journey on the Batwa trail to visit the Twa, one of the oldest groups of people on the planet. Later drive back to the lodge for leisure time and evening group farewell dinner.
Day 16
International flight from Entebbe to New York, JFK Airport
Have breakfast in the morning at the lodge, drive to Entebbe airport. Upon arrival connect for your international flight.

All names on documents must match the legal name on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match tickets. Please check the State Department website at https://travel.state.gov for further information. Immunizations may also be required (such as the Yellow Fever vaccine). Failure to comply with these regulations may result in denied boarding, denied entry, and/or government-imposed fines. If you are a citizen of another country, there may be additional requirements. Check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are traveling to and find out the entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Khui Land Productions acts as a mere agent for suppliers in selling travel-related services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by this travel agency (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). This agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract of any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you. Khui Land Productions shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climactic conditions, criminal acts or abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of Khui Land Productions’ control. Traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases the agent from any duty of, checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety or security conditions at such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel. By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. TRAVELER DISRUPTION
Please note that Khui Land Productions reserves the right to accept and cancel reservations for travelers at our discretion. Khui Land Productions will make every attempt to balance the group with the best interests of all travelers in mind. In the case where our team anticipates potentially unproductive results or negative outcomes to the fellow travelers or the tour due to disruptions by another fellow traveler, Khui Land Productions reserves the right to cancel the reservation of the disruptive traveler which can result in the disruptive traveler being sent back to the U.S. or their respective country without penalty to Khui Land Productions. As such, the traveler will be held responsible for any penalties incurred.
NATURAL DISASTERS, POLITICAL INSTABILITY, ETC.
Customers shall not be allowed to claim any indemnity if cancellation is caused by the forces of nature or for any reason relating to the traveler’s safety. Some modifications to original itineraries may be possible but are left to the discretion of Khui Land Productions. If an agent or supplier refuses or is unable to facilitate a request for an itinerary change, the above cancellation policy is in effect. Civil or religious celebrations, strikes, and demonstrations in visited countries are likely to cause modifications in the tours or visits for which the organizer should not be held liable. The agent and tour provider shall not be held liable for any loss damage or theft of personal belongings or luggage, and customers’ repatriation in case of serious illness, death, or accident. Travelers should purchase travel insurance before traveling abroad.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Twin-share accommodation is based on twin or double-bedded rooms, which is allocated by the hotel. It is normal hotel practice to supply triple accommodation on the basis of a twin or double bed plus a roll-away bed. Single-room accommodation must be reserved by people traveling alone and is subject to the payment of the applicable single supplement. While Khui Land Productions makes every effort to ensure accuracy in hotel information and descriptions, we are reliant on hotels giving us accurate details. Since hotels are constantly changing facilities and services, we cannot be liable for any errors or omissions. If any feature is of critical importance to your vacation, it is the passenger’s responsibility to ask Khui Land Productions to check whether those features will be available at the time of occupancy at the given hotel.
TRANSPORTATION
Traffic conditions that result from traffic accidents, weather conditions, or other traffic issues that are out of Khui Land Productions’ control will not hold the company responsible for schedule delays. Khui Land Productions does not accept any liability for failure on the part of the transportation companies whose responsibility is confined to their own operations. Khui Land Productions reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel all or any of the arrangements contained in the itineraries. Khui Land Productions, or its Associate/s whilst taking every care with the passenger’s luggage or property, shall not accept any liability for damage, loss, or inconvenience in the handling thereof. The transportation companies shall be exempt from any liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness, or injury, however or whosoever caused and whatever kind occurring, of or to the passenger at any time when the passenger is not on board a carrier or conveyance used and operated by the transport companies or firms.
PASSPORT AND VISA
Each person must carry a valid passport. Visas are the responsibility of the traveler, and must be purchased in advance; we urge you to check with all relevant consulates and/or embassies prior to travel. Some Visas are required for travelers of certain nationalities. Currently, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda all require an e-Visa for entry. The airlines will not allow you to board your international flight without an e-Visa. We recommend that you apply for an e-Visa for all three countries online at least 45 days in advance before the tour starts

Each traveler is allowed 2 checked bags not to exceed a total of 50 lbs. each.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be received in writing and will incur a $150 administrative fee, and a 25% charge. Cancellations made 60 days or less prior to the tour departure date will NOT be refunded. No refunds will be given once the tour has started. There are no exceptions to our cancellation policy. Travel insurance is recommended for your protection against any issues that may occur.

We strongly recommend that at the time of booking you purchase a travel insurance policy of your choice. NOTE: Insurance coverage may not cover pre-existing conditions and may have other restrictions and exclusions. Consult the insurance carriers directly for details.
TOUR PAYMENTS
We require a $300 non-refundable deposit after your registration form has been approved. All payments made after August 1st, 2024 will incur a $100 late fee.
